Bouin Solution
A Tissue Stabilizer containing a mixture of formalin, picric acid and glacial acetic acid.
It is especially useful for trichrome connective tissue stains.
Ideal for fixation of glycogen, lymph nodes and proteins and for Trichrome Dyes.
It acts as a stabilizer and mordant, but can also break down red blood cells.
